Phwoo...can hardly keep my eyes open...so chilled out. Just returned from a foot and leg massage, pedicure and toe nail paint exquisitely performed by Kath at the U Salon in Newcastle Upon Tyne. I would never have believed my feet could feel this fantastic and...sexy! Yeah, she who was once called hobbit feet feels like she is walking on silk cushions. Hmmm. It's the toenail paint that is called 'Kinky'. Tee, hee. With this and pilates in the morning I could very easily slide under my duvet and sleep. Wow.
However, I have to pop into work then later I'm off to The Bridge for knit group. I'm really interested in freeform crochet. Having very recently joined a group on Ravelry, I've decided what better way to get into it than by contributing to their Valentine 'Victorian-Style-Crochet-Cuff-Along'. I started it last night with an antique rose colour cotton 4ply double filet base of about 2inches high. It's going to be a button fastening wrap over closure. I've some pearly buttons I can use and tiny pink ribbons. I'm suprisingly into the vintage feel of it and it is working up faster than I thought it would. Really enjoying myself with the non-pattern following freedom of it. Will post pic when complete. I think I might even make a few with a more contemporary feel to them.
